25madison has teamed up with LifePoint Health, a leading national healthcare company, to launch 25m Health, a first-of-its-kind healthtech venture studio focused on building companies from the ground up and investing in early-stage startups that offer innovative solutions to make communities healthier.  

Based in Nashville, the epicenter of the healthcare industry in the US, 25m Health is seeded initially with $20 million in funding from Lifepoint Health, 25madison, and Apollo Global Management, a leading global alternative asset management business. 

The mission of 25m Health is to build an enduring innovation engine that brings healthcare-focused businesses to life: solving challenges, eliminating barriers, and enhancing the delivery of high-quality healthcare close to home by building new companies from the ground up and investing in early-stage startups. Initially, 25m Health is focused on cultivating innovative businesses and ideas that: 

• Improve access to high-quality healthcare; 
• Use technology to enhance the delivery of care across the healthcare continuum; and 
• Support the continued evolution toward value-based care. 

Why now? 

Delivering healthcare amidst the COVID-19 pandemic drove regulatory changes that unleashed a litany of healthcare innovation that had been bubbling for years. Patients have had a taste of engaging with their healthcare the way they consume other products and services. They don’t want to go back to the status quo.  

At 25m Health, we believe this revolution is just beginning: the next wave of successful healthcare businesses will jump through these regulatory and behavioral change openings to bring consumer-grade experiences to healthcare that meet patients in their communities. 

How does it work? 

The 25m Health Studio is a space where aspiring entrepreneurs connect with experienced business builders who know what it takes to create thriving companies as well as senior executives from LifePoint Health who deeply understand the challenges of the healthcare industry, the evolving needs of patients, and the uniqueness of the communities in which they are embedded. The result? Incubations and investments that meaningfully improve health outcomes for patients within the LifePoint Health system, and across the country.
